Attorney Geldmacher Obtains $150,000 Workers Comp Settlement for O’Fallon, Illinois Employee

Christopher Geldmacher of the Sauter Sullivan law firm represented a 49-year-old man employed by a food production facility in O’Fallon, Illinois. The employee struck his head on the job while moving crates of milk. The blow to his head was serious and he showed signs of a significant concussion.  He was taken directly from work to the hospital and later followed up with a physician who diagnosed the concussion and documented the issues and symptoms resulting from the man’s workplace head injury.

His concussion symptoms were serious, including altered vision, post-concussive headaches and difficulties concentrating.  Excessive movement aggravated his condition, and he was forced to change careers as a result.  Over the course of his treatment, he was referred to several medical specialists and had to undergo a regimen of physical therapy specific to people with concussions.

Chris Geldmacher filed a workers’ compensation claim for his client, and throughout the process, he made sure his client received all the treatment he required and ensured his medical bills were paid.  In the end, Geldmacher negotiated a $150,000 settlement for his injured client.
